News from Our Executive Director

Dear CASA Friends,

I am in the process of transitioning out of the role of Executive Director of CASA of Lane County.  After fifteen amazing years, it is time for me to take on a new role as an independent contractor working to align efforts and funding to reduce duplication, address gaps and measure our efforts so that we can move the needle on issues that we care about.

I acknowledge that change is hard especially when someone has been at the helm for as long as I have. I am confident about and excited for the next chapter for this organization. We have a very strong staff, board of directors and volunteer base whose primary purpose for being here is the children we serve. In addition we have people like you who are just as committed to the critical mission of CASA.

I have given my written notice to the Board of Directors and plan to remain in my position for the next several months to give CASA’s leadership ample time to conduct a search for my successor. I am committed to assist the new Executive Director as he/she transitions into this amazing organization.

I appreciate everything you’ve helped us accomplish on behalf of our community’s most vulnerable children and ask for your continued support of CASA as one chapter closes and another is written.

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Megan_Signature
