Significant changes are happening in the response to child abuse and neglect in Lane County, and we want to keep you informed. Join us for an informational presentation featuring:
- Erinn Kelley-Siel, Director, Oregon Department of Human Services: DHS-Child Welfare is working toward significant changes in its response to cases of child abuse and neglect, with an emphasis on placing fewer children into foster care.
- Jeff Todahl, Ph.D., University of Oregon: 90by30 is a new community-wide initiative engaging all sectors of the community to reduce child abuse in Lane County by 90% by the year 2030.
- Megan Shultz, Executive Director, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA): CASA is preparing to launch a new program model that will engage more high-level volunteers in order to double the number of children served within the next few years.
