We are very excited to introduce Kendra Jones as our new Executive Director. Kendra will be starting her new position on January 3rd, 2022. Kendra possesses over 18 years of executive-level leadership, including her recent service as the Founding Executive Director of Family Promise of Tulsa County.
Kendra will be coming to CASA from Aviva Health where, as grant writer, she’s secured over $15 million in grant funds to ensure quality, affordable healthcare for Douglas County residents.
Early in her career, Kendra served as Executive Director for a small nonprofit in the mid-west, and later relocated to the Pacific Northwest, where she worked as Deputy Director of a mid-sized nonprofit on California’s Redwood Coast. She has also provided consulting support to nonprofits.
Throughout her career, Kendra’s work has focused on organizational and community development, while forming effective community collaborative teams, with an emphasis in public policy.
“The mission and purpose of CASA is near and dear to my heart, and I feel honored to serve as the next Executive Director. I believe it only takes one trusted adult to create the resiliency needed to overcome childhood adversity and achieve success. Throughout the interview process, it was evident that the team at CASA of Lane County is fully dedicated to being the powerful voices these children and youth need. I am truly excited to join the CASA team in 2022.”
