Support CASA of Lane County with your cans and bottles through our Oregon BottleDrop Give program. Your funds will directly support children in need. To get started, check out the two ways you can donate:
Option 1: Sign up to receive Blue Bags by mail every month or stop by our office at 174 Deadmond Ferry Road to pick them up. Then, fill the Blue Bags with your bottles and cans and bring them by our office or return them to any Oregon BottleDrop. You can drop the bags off at their Drop Door by scanning the QR code tag on the Blue Bag.
Option 2: Fill your own Green Bags with your bottles and cans and drop it off at any Oregon BottleDrop location. Once you see the money in your Green Bags account, your can click the donate button below and sign in to transfer your BottleDrop funds directly CASA of Lane County’s Blue Bags account.

Each Blue Bag is tagged with a unique barcode linking it to CASA of Lane County. After you return each bag, Oregon BottleDrop employees will scan the QR code and deposit funds into our account.

Blue Bags can be dropped at any Oregon BottleDrop location. Once you arrive at your chosen location, there will be a DropDoor near the redemption center. Simply drop your BlueBags into the DropDoor, and you're done!
Alternatively, you can also bring your Blue Bags back to CASA of Lane County at 174 Deadmond Ferry Road during our business hours, and we will recycle the Blue Bags for you. CASA's business hours are 9 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Opening the door is simple! Just find the QR code on one of your blue bags and scan it under the scanner at the drop door. You should hear a beep when it scans successfully. Then open the door and deposit all your blue bags.
When you scan this blue bag tag, you are authorized to drop off only your own bags during open hours. Please be sure to close the drop door before and after depositing your blue bags.

Oregon BottleDrop takes a small processing fee equal to 8% of the refund value of the containers in each bag. This fee usually amounts to about $0.40 - $0.80 per bag, depending on the amount of cans in it. The rest of the money from the bag is deposited directly into CASA of Lane County's BottleDrop Give account!

Yes, your donation is a huge help! Right now, CASA of Lane County is earning over $3,000 a year from your bottles and cans alone, but every dollar that goes toward our program is a dollar that we can use to support a child in foster care. We hope that you will consider recycling your bottles and cans with CASA of Lane County make a difference for vulnerable children throughout Lane County!

CASA’s Blue Bag Rules
It is critical that you follow these rules without exception. Failure to comply can result in the suspension or termination of our BottleDrop Give account.
Include only bottles and cans (do not place trash, hazardous items, or biohazardous materials in Blue Bags)
All containers must be redeemable in Oregon and display a valid Oregon refund value
Do not crush or break bottles and cans
Empty all containers completely; do not return cans with liquid still in the containers
Rinse containers before placing them in Blue Bags to prevent stickiness and contamination
