Empower Community
Through Faith and Action
Local churches and religious institutions can partner with CASA of Lane County to support and impact the lives of the children we serve. By partnering with CASA, faith communities help provide support for some of Lane County’s most vulnerable citizens: children in foster care who need caring volunteers to advocate for their best interests during their journey through the child welfare system.
We invite our Faith Advocate Partners to be involved in a variety of meaningful ways.
What is a Faith Advocate?
Faith organizations that partner with CASA as advocates are committed to furthering our mission of empowering volunteer advocates to safeguard the best interests of children who have endured abuse or neglect. Faith Advocates can support our program in three ways of their choosing:
Invite CASA to speak with your congregation once a year about volunteer opportunities
Publicize the need for volunteers in bulletin boards, on service screens, and in announcements
Share information about CASA events with employees
Host a third-party event benefitting CASA
Share information about CASA with your public audiences via social media
Financially sponsor a new CASA volunteer
Invite CASA to table at a business or customer events
We also welcome other ideas of how you can support our program!
Thank You to Our Faith Advocate Partners!
Making a Difference Together
Your support will enable CASA to expand our program sustainably, serving as a pipeline for volunteer recruitment. Together, we can extend CASA’s reach, providing essential support to more children in our community.
