Every child deserves to grow up knowing that they matter—that their voice will be heard, their needs will be taken seriously, and there will be someone standing beside them when life becomes difficult.
That is the heart of CASA of Lane County.
This past year, we have been reminded again and again of what is possible when a community comes together around children. Our advocates have shown up in courtrooms, schools, homes, and countless other places—not simply to observe what is happening in a child’s life, but to listen, to ask questions, to build relationships, and to make sure each child’s best interests remain at the center of every decision.

The numbers in this Annual Report tell part of our story. They reflect children served, advocates trained, hours volunteered, and partnerships strengthened. But behind every number is a child. A child who deserves stability. A teenager who needs someone to believe in their potential. A sibling who wants to remain connected to family. A young person who needs to know that someone will keep showing up.
Our CASA volunteers make that commitment every day.
We are deeply grateful for the volunteers who give their time and compassion, for the staff who guide and support them, and for the judges, attorneys, child welfare professionals, educators, service providers, donors, and community partners who share our commitment to children and families.
And to those of you who invest in CASA through your generosity: thank you. Your support does more than sustain an organization. It makes it possible for a child in foster care to have a consistent, caring adult in their corner. It helps ensure that children are not lost in a complicated system. It gives them a voice—and reminds them that their future matters.
There is still much work to do. But we move forward with hope, because we have seen what happens when people choose to show up for children.
